This presentation introduces Solution-Focused BEARS (Best hopes, Exceptions, Alternate future, Resources, and Scaling), a practical and child-friendly application of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). This session will provide examples for applying the Best Hopes, Exceptions, Alternate Future, Resources, and Scaling framework in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 settings. Joe will read a storybook he created about Scout: the Hope Detective in the session and share lesson plans and discussions around the story.
